Facilitating Contact in Berkshire between Children and Parents

Forming positive relationships and happy memories is crucial to a child’s happiness and development. That is why, even after a separation, parents should always ensure that their children have contact with both their father and their mother. At our child contact centre in Berkshire, we facilitate contact between children and their parents. Voice of the Child provisions escorted, supported, and supervised child contact services, as well as handover contact. Please read below for further details about our work.

Supervised Contact

This involves close monitoring and recording when it has been determined that a child has suffered harm, or is at risk of suffering harm, during contact. For more information, or to make a referral, please download our referral form.

Supported Contact

Supported contact is most suitable for families when no significant risk to the child or those around the child has been identified. For more information, or to make a referral, please download our referral form.

Escorted Contact

Where it has been agreed that supervised or supported contact can take place in the community, escorted contact is the most suitable option. For more information, or to make a referral, please download our referral form.

Handover Contact

This option involves a drop-off point where parents do not have to meet. The resident parent will drop the child off at the centre, and the non-resident parent will then take the child out before returning them to the centre. For more information, or to make a referral, please download our referral form.
